Please read this , if you didn't know Bob R This will give you a great background on Search and Rescue , mountaineering and what over the years creates a family of people bonded together , this includes partners , wives, children and long relationships , with very diverse backgrounds , a true group of people willing to care for others and share the greatness of the outdoors.

(and I sure look different!)

When I heard that Some Guy was including his top ranked climbing companions in his will, I asked if we could start climbing together more... I was tied at #63...

522 documented climbing partners... wow!

I was inspired by the thoughtful, intelligent, and detailed writings of Bob Rockwell on this message board over 20 years ago and as a result, I hear the Sierras constant call. Had the pleasure of meeting some guy on a Whitney hike (9/20/2009). Always a joy to meet a hero in person.
