Good news,

Just got word from a Boise tv station, Tim and Charlie are OK. I hope the report is correct!

This just came up on the Heros Project facebook page..........

The Heroes Project
Packing up and heading out to climb the most important mountain in the world right now... helping the people of Nepal. So for now we must say goodbye to Mt Everest. The North side climbing season was cancelled today per order of the Chinese government - in solidarity with the crisis happening over the border in Nepal. We are disappointed but support their decision.

The Heroes Project said our goodbye's today to this beautiful and sacred mountain.

We are now heading back to Nepal to focus our energy in helping out with earthquake relief.

We hope everyone supports our decision to help the people of Nepal.

Next stop for Operation Everest ...Kathmandu

Some Mountains are very high, history has recorded that many can reach these high places other Mountains may be hard to reach but the reward is far greater. The new Mountain Charlie and Tim will climb will return a higher value. Rosie's quote from Albert Pike" What we do for ourselves.........

As we joined the Hero's several weeks ago the summit had not been the end goal is was to help raise awareness of the need of these young men and women ,that need now has a higher calling and in a small way we have been able to support this new Mountain.

Doug, my sediments 100%. Thank you for putting our thoughts so perfectly into words... Your wisdom never ceases to astound me.

If you're still following the news out of Nepal...

A US Marine Helo Air Crew went missing a few days ago... they finally found the aircraft... unfortunately, no known survivors... sad.
