Moved to Bishop in 2012 and haven't looked back since...
we've got beautiful mountains up here in the Pacific Northwest, but the Sierra will always be "home" to me.
Couldn't have said it better... I love the PNW for so many reasons and feel lucky to live here but the Sierra won my heart.

As usual, Rosie is right on with a great idea. Suggest the thread start early enough so as to not conflict with all the posting traffic as we get nearer to the lottery for Trip Permits.
This Friday will be 5 years. Hard to believe it's been that long. Was a great moment for so many people celebrating the life of a such a good person. Reunion hike?
