Mt. Whitney Portal Store & Hostel Forums General Mt. Whitney Portal Store Message Board NAP and Cirque Hike 10-20-2012

We went on a hike to Cirque Peak, and then down NAP. This may very well be our last opportunity to visit the Cottonwood Lakes before the snows come in. Beautiful day, but it is sad that the region is closing soon for winter. Perhaps it will close this week with the snow levels down to the lower elevations.

Beautiful area, great pictures, I had no idea there were that many lakes up there. I gotta get up there too, I have only been to Horseshoe Meadows.
