Thinking about the tutu march, we all hear the stories of the people who were seen hiking in high heels, etc.
I can't help but wonder if those were similar types of adventures, in some cases?

.... we all hear the stories of the people who were seen hiking in high heels, etc. Oh my! Well, the difference would be that the you don't really even notice wearing the tutus and tiaras... its basically a piece of elastic around the waist and clips in the hair.... LOL! they're not performance-quality tutus by any means. Much as I like me heels, I wouldn't want to hike in them!

I'd love to join a tutu/tiara trek sometime... looks like LOADS of fun!!

It is an amazing thing to make a dream come true... To make a dream come true for someone else... even better. Dave walked out to the helicopter to meet us and asked my Dad what he thought. My Dad's first words: "Had the time of my life." p.s. And I love following YOUR adventures...

Excellent, MC! Doug and the WPS - true instititions! Could not agree more. From the mountain rescues to the work Doug has done for troubled youth... And for everything inbetween, he is my hero. What Doug and his family have done to keep the Portal from becoming commercialized is truly a gift for us all... And generations to come. I am disappointed about the development of Whitney Portal Road... just my 2¢. Whitney Portal Preserve housing development in LP

MC, So glad that your vacation to California with Dave allowed you to make the hike on Saturday, enjoy the potluck, the morning with Doug and the Portal crew and the joy of being in an area and with friends that fill up your heart with joy! It's never possible to do it all, but the photos of you with the Tiara and Tu Tu Girl's is just precious! That should be an annual event!
Oh, and the thrill of realizing a dream of sharing the Grand Canyon with your dad... priceless beyond words.
Wherever you go MC, you spead joy. It is your gift! xo
