Has anyone had any experience with the tracking device called inReach?

I haven't used the inReach, but I've been following developments.

DeLorme's announcement:
http://blog.delorme.com/2011/06/03/delorme-inreach-two-way-satellite-communication/

The unit adds text reception, full time satellite constellation, full time satellite constellation monthly costs, and message reception confirmation to the capabilities of the SPOT 2.

Texting requires either a DeLorme PN 60w or an Android OS device. There seem to be some rough edges to the Android implementation. See the Delorme discussion board:
http://forum.delorme.com/viewtopic.php?p=194508

Prices look like $250 plus $10 per month.
