We ware looking for 2 day permits for october 2 on The Mt. Whitney trail. If you have a permit please let me know.

I might...was going to do the MR on the 2nd but looks like there may be too much ice/snow at the top. I know I have 1 extra for sure that I don't need.

thanks. We hiked today. conditions were bad.

Maybe tomorrow after you've had a chance to rest, I'd love to hear a mini trip report. I basically bailed on the hike this year because the conditions just didn't seem favorable, was planning on doing the MR and didn't want to deal with rain, snow or ice...at all. Plus the low temps just didn't make it sound any more enjoyable.
