Mt. Whitney Portal Store & Hostel Forums General Mt. Whitney Portal Store Message Board Snowshoes between Lower Boy Scout & Iceberg Lake?

I'm heading up the North Fork on Thursday to climb the East Face & Buttress.

I'm planning to take crampons and an axe for the MR descent, but I'd love to leave my snowshoes home.

Has anyone ascended above Lower Boy Scout Lake to Iceberg Lake this week? Will I need snowshoes above LBSL?
