Hi Bears are finding food left out and looking in cars now , I found one heading for the cars at the trailhead and the same one eating food it had taken from the walkin camp site.So you can say Me? I didn't leave anything out but check that group next to you maybe they did? No I think the bear brought the food up from town , and as the guy at the car with the bags on the front says Oh they don't have any food in them , Should I take the stuff out of the trunk?

This part of the season sets the mark for the entire summer if the bears get "your" food now in the Portal area they have no need to look for "bear" food. And this now equates to dealing with the bears that will ripe your car open ,take your packs and make sure you get little sleep and scare the gravy out of you if they charge.( The one last night is the charger from last season, a year old and larger).

The lady that was missing last night walked out this morning .Thanks Doug

I'll second on the IQ checkpoint. How sad that just a few spoil it for everyone.

It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great.
