Hi Talked with a guy starting the JMT in the morning heading north so the trail sounds clear?

Wife must have told him to get out.

Why Yes, I am crazy. I'm just not stupid.

Wow! That gets a 'most triumphant' rating. Also curious how many nights spent.

Possibly faster than the record for speed hiking JMT on foot?

I don't know. From the camp site images, and the light on some of the images I would guess at least 7 days, probably more. There are quite some gaps in the images so a day may sneak in here and there.

all I know is May 10 is when he posted the images.

well, if you all like this so much, have a look at John Dittli's trip from last week

Enchanted Gorge, Ionian, Muir Pass country.

so the guy who hit the JMT at the portal is using snow shoes? Ski? or just faith?

Hi Faith until Doug Jr gave him snowshoes and the bailout plan at Bubbs Creek if he needs to exit. Thanks Doug
