Hi Very good coverage of the winter route , when the area is covered and firm ,travel can be faster than summer, but like happened on this trip ONE KINK and you have to turn back.
Side note on the fuel leak. Only fill the bottles 3/4 full, the pressure will force the gas out. Also not a bad ideal to carry the bottle on the outside , clothing stinking is not as bad as the food soaked. Very commom problem so many have changed to the cans. Another leak using the liquid gas is the "O" rings can shrink or split in the cold and the seal may not hold the pressure so if you see the older guys cooking outside that is why . Carry a rebuild kit or take extra "O" rings. Another problem the last few years , some bottles have a flat washer on one brand and still the ring on the others. I have had people bring leaking bottles into the store that turned out to be the new water bottles NOT FUEL BOTTLES and the seals and threads are different on the pump .
Thanks for the posting the video I am sure it will help answer many questions. Doug
