I think you may have found my crampon!! Was it along the Mountaineers Route? I lost in at some point between the Notch and Upper Boyscout lake. That would be awesome! Black Diamond aluminum. I was bummed, but reasoned that if that was all the Mt Whitney charged for making the summit, we were lucky.
