The road is closed, maybe they forgot to take the 5 signs down and the chains across the road and the loader parked in the middle of the road is normal, but I would think maybe the road is closed.

Just got down earlier today. The road is open. The sign and chains across the road has been moved aside. The road will stay opened until it is closed.

Now the much more important question... when can we get burgers at the store?

The Cook says he's ready to head up the hill...

... But there's still a lot of snow that needs to disappear...

Here I am doing my part to see that it happens a little sooner: smile

Hi You can now park in the middle of the road, block the lower parking spaces and get stuck driving past the store. Thanks Doug

Hi Last update on the road .The Forest Service brought up a loader this morning and cleared the road and many parking spaces. Still some snow on the road and I would watch for ice the next few days in the shaded areas past the campground. We are moving into the store and should start cooking on the 7 th of May. Thanks Doug

Nice! Will they keep it clear even though it will snow the coming days?
