George Dunn was one of your guides? He was one of our guides on Raineer in 1989! I haven't heard from him since he camped next to us on Denali in 1995. What a small world!

Graham, on that week there were still boulders strewn all over the road which would have made it impenetrable for a car. Kurt mentioned that when they hiked down Thursday evening the snow slide had been cleared, but when he went up Friday it was back in place. We were told that until the road can be cleared daily of fallen debris, it will remain closed, hence the snow slide. The official date for it to open is May 1st, but Dave G mentioned that he heard the road was open last weekend.
