Not bad, 16 lbs I normally carry for the day. My gosh, great photos of the hike. It appears to me, that you hiked on the south side of the North Fork, not the "E-ledges". (is that correct?)

The snow is melting fast, and some snow bridges over the stream are already problematic. I recommend the E-ledges unless we get another monster storm.
Yeah Berne we didn't need to hit the E Ledges yet. Like my good friend Bob says it is melting fast though so chances are we'll need to switch to the Ledges soon. As I type this it is snowing in the hills above Bishop and the temperature has dropped a lot. I have a couple guides coming off the mountain today. We'll see what they give as an updated report.
