Kurt,

Not bad, 16 lbs I normally carry for the day. My gosh, great photos of the hike. It appears to me, that you hiked on the south side of the North Fork, not the "E-ledges". (is that correct?)

Yeah Berne we didn't need to hit the E Ledges yet. Like my good friend Bob says it is melting fast though so chances are we'll need to switch to the Ledges soon. As I type this it is snowing in the hills above Bishop and the temperature has dropped a lot. I have a couple guides coming off the mountain today. We'll see what they give as an updated report.

Thanks Bob, congrats on Thor, great pics too. Weather looked perfect. Will decide which side to go up, when I get there. Last April 19th, the conditions allowed to take the south side, which I prefer.
