Alas, Tioga Pass is closed for the season... frown

Y'all on the "BEaSTern" side of the Sierra Nevada be safe as those who live on the "WesteRnONG" side live vicariously through your TR and pictures.

There ain't no way I am driving down through B-field. No offense to the residents there. We just don't like the drive from Coarsegold to B-field via the 99. The only "99" we want to be on is the switchers. Okay, 97. Give or take a couple of right angles.

But there is plenty to do here on the Westend.

Here's to 2010. Can't wait until February 1, 2010 when it is time to submit for the lottery.

Have fun.

I may put up a report later, but thanks Rob and Steve for a fun weekend on the rocks. My knuckles will never be the same. Fun to see GrahamCracker out there, too.

And, yes, it's all about the socks. wink

Don't make us come over there to B-town when the pass re-opens and spot you at the cafe and yank your laptop away from you! grin

If we do, we will give it back to you at Whiskey Creek!

I noticed they put up a new sign on San J.

Elevation on San J. should be 10,804. But no worries.
