BTW this is my first post here. Been 'visiting' for several months and love the LP area (and the WPS burgers and fries!). Lots of nice folks with good info here on the forum.
Dec. 23, 2000 it was possible to drive all the way to the Portal. The only snow that was on the road was around the pond and it didn't amount to much. Maybe conditions will be similiar this year?
Cole The impact of that boulder may have wiggled some of the seismometers in the area! The road clearing guys must have fun trundling those over the edge!
