Dec. 23, 2000 it was possible to drive all the way to the Portal. The only snow that was on the road was around the pond and it didn't amount to much. Maybe conditions will be similiar this year?

The impact of that boulder may have wiggled some
of the seismometers in the area! The road
clearing guys must have fun trundling those
over the edge!
