Considering the MR this weekend. Never been up there this time of year. I'm down in San Diego, so I'd appreciate any input/suggestions/trail conditions from the locals or recent hikers.

Agreed on the wait until Wednesday---

Weather permitting we will be going to Upper Boy Scout Lake on Friday for a MR summit on Saturday and Russell on Sunday--at least that is our tentative plans for now as we await the outcome of the storm.

i love this weather. i am changing my call sign to snow scrambler for the winter.
i say go find out. go as far as you can, and if its to crazy turn it around.
take lots of layers, and a hardcore attitude.
see you up there, its going to be a rad trip.
