I would like to join your party all the way to the summit of Whitney on the 22nd, if I can persuade my 2 companions to summit Russell on Saturday rather than Friday. We want to do both on this trip, but we have never been up to Russell and thats the only reason Russell is first on our agenda. I would like to do a Whitney-Russell Loop in the same day but my companions are somewhat tenative about the my ambition. Regardless of which peak we do first we will drop tents sleeping bags at UBSL on the way up. We'll see what unfolds, I hope to see you both there on Friday.
