This is my lunch on all week long white water canoe trips and hikes. smile

For a trip lasting 2-3 days, this makes up the bulk of my meals, too. The salami can be used for an hor'deurve lunch, and a few bits mixed into ramen vastly improves their flavor. I'd substitute some good crackers for the bread (crackers travel better in a bpack). And if weight isn't a big concern, don't forget to bring a good bottle of wine! grin.
