Just called and released 2 day hike permits for MMWT for this Saturday, August 15th. We were able to take a little more time off work, so decided to backpack, and modified our reservation to pick up some overnight cancellations.
The phone number for permits is 760-873-2483, press '0' as soon as you get on to avoid the recorded message.
