day permit for main mt. whitney trail 7/16. i'm solo and would like a climbing partner or to join a group. please e-me. i'm a 31 year old gal in good shape. previous summits in the colorado rockies--a few 14ers. plan on camping or staying at the hostel in lone pine night of 15th. hit the trail by 2 or 3 am.
My friend and I are also going up on the same day. Our plan is to leave at 2:00am. We are going to pick up his wife and my friend at Trail Crest, they are going up to spend the night the day before and hopefully we will meet up with them and summit together. If you are there at the same time I will look out for you. I also live here in San Diego.
Oh that would have been nice to have you in our party, but my friend does not think he could do it in a day, so we are going up with the wife and friend. Will look for you on the top or at the switch backs.
