Not sure I would characterize the skeeters as a "major" problem, yet, but I'd bring the bug juice. I was running so I only got contact when I stopped to take in the views or talk with someone on the trail. A little DEET would have solved that. I've only ever camped at Third Lake but there are many nice sites all around the string. Lakes One, Two, and Three have the beautiful blue green water tinted by the glacier silt while the others typically have very clear water. I'm drawn to Three because Temple Crag provides a back drop that I will never tire of looking at. My runs often take me past Black Lake which is a little less visited. It has a few nice looking camping spots, too, and you can make a lollipop loop on your trip that includes Lakes One through Four and Black Lake (pretty obvious how to do this if you study the maps).
