Mt. Whitney Portal Store & Hostel Forums General Mt. Whitney Portal Store Message Board Transportation from/to Fresno

Hi-I'm new. I am bringing my kids to summit Whitney from the West in July. I need transportation from Fresno to Sequoia and later, the portal back to the Fresno airport. I'd be grateful for any information about this service. Thanks.

PS. are there showers at the portal like at Lodgepole?

By the way, there is good public transportation from Lone Pine to Reno -- you could fly home out of Reno. The ride north from Lone Pine gives you a spectacular view of the Sierra. Far better than heading back to Fresno or south to the LA area.

There is a shower at the Whitney Portal Store.
