Pretty cool, Dayle. You had such a small frame, I thought I'd try a 600 x 800 pixel version (just changed the dimensions from your post):

I thought I'd start small so people not viewing the message board in a large window would not need to use the scroll bar at the bottom as well at the tools already provided by gigapan.
I guess there is another way to try with the width at "100%" instead of in pixels:

Heres a couple of my pics -

This is the last thing I remember before this hiker stud knocked me off the summit block. Luckily I landed on some Rice Crispy treats:

And this pic pretty much sums up the whole day:

I'm looking forward to the next hike!!..................DUG

See... Even the Moose has claws!!! I'm just taking lessons from the Master...

And NO one complained about the rice krispie treats.. of course.. I didn't check under all the bushes before we left teh summit to make sure that isn't where they all ended up! LOL

Well, here are a few more panoramas from that morning.

This is a view to the west with the gigapan robot/G9

This is western view with my usual E510.

This is a telephoto view from southeast through north with the E510.

Chris and gang,

I almost missed you guys, if my friend Steve had not got lost waiting to vote (he was going to be away for a couple a weeks and wanted to do his civic duty – it took him four hours of waiting in line) I would have missed you.

Had lots of fun meeting all of you, but making me turn around and go back up with the group after I had made it to the top and was about a third of the way down was hard on the knees (but worth it). I felt it when I did the trip the next day, albeit a little slower at 57 minutes instead of the 53 on Saturday.

Look forward to seeing you guys the next time you are on Iron Mountain.

All the best,
Bill

Chris: So glad you put this whole thing together. It was a perfect excuse to head back into the belly of the beast and meet some great people (and hang with my ol' friends, too!). I still can't believe how hot it was that day! (or that DUG kept complaining about the heat... I mean, sheesh...) wink

Thanks for the invite!
