OMG. Let's quibble about the definition of "quibble."
When I talked about quibbling on another thread, I was using what I thought were the most familiar definitions. As a noun, "quibble" means "a petty distinction or an irrelevant objection." As a verb, it means "to find fault or criticize for petty reasons." I admitted to quibbling on occasion, as I think it can be good, clean fun.
That said, too much quibbling (in fact, more than a tiny bit) can only make one very disliked (I am sugar-coating here).
"Quibble" has been beaten to death here. R.I.P.
