Nice pictures! Thanks for posting. We hiked Blue Lake two years ago. As you hike past Blue Lake, the trail splits. Straight ahead is Donkey Lake and the Baboon Lakes. To the right are the Emerald Lakes, Dingleberry Lake and others. There was a trail sign that said Baboon Lakes to the right. I'm standing there with a map, compass, and GPS thinking that this sign is backwards. I emailed the forest service about this sign. I got a reply that to the right there was a stock trail that led to the Baboon Lakes. We did not take that fork, but it looks like you did. Did you see this sign? Since you hiked the right hand fork, did you see a stock trail that would go to the Baboon Lakes?
