Booger: I'll totally wait around to say hi/have another beer! Sunday plans aren't set in stone yet, but how's about PF Sunday evening for din-din? Or better yet Merry-Go-Round?

Dragon Peak sure looks like a fun hike but after seeing the pictures of that skinny little crack to negotiate to get to the summit has me clucking like a chicken.I will be up in the area slaying some trout anyways and would love to stop by the party and say hi.I have a bunch of fresh Albacore I could bring, along with beer and whatever else would be needed, maybe even fresh trout. It would be nice to put faces to the names and meet the Legends of the Sierra.

Moosie,
Just learned of a Sunday morning meeting in Anaheim (I'm on the SETP board), so chances of making it to LP are slim - but a definite maybe.

Probably have to wait til next year - although fall adventures in Death Valley (with Panamint Springs Resort assuming the refreshment provider role of the Portal store) are awaiting.

One of the hidden secrets of living in Ridgecrest - just an hour and a half from both the Sierra trailheads and Death Valley!

less than 48 hours now till my fun begins - can someone kick Mickey in the ass and make his hands spin faster please.

Bringing a cooler Saturday morning to drop off in Lone Pine with:
Beer/Sodas
Marinated Chicken to BBQ
Pie for desert

I should be at HS Cafe no later than 6am and ready to hike by 7am
I usually allow 45 minutes for commute time from Lone Pine to Onion Valley - see you all then.

Thanks to:

Doug for opening up the Hostel for our food and party -
please find in your heart to set aside an extra bear canister for a tip jar

Paul and Phil - for all the hard work of putting this trip together. Hoping the 2nd annual goes off as well as the first annual.

If you do not hike - then stop by and have a beer - this is the place:

Rigeline and I are coming up.
I'm going to bring a projector and stuff so if you have any pictures of on the trail bring them and we'll show them at dinner and laugh at each other. bring jepgs files on a memory stick or a CD.
Should be up Friday night. Looking forward to it.
Take care.
PS: if you want me bring something that you need(food wise) let me know. otherwise I'll just bring something.

Doug: That sounds great. I'll have my computer, and Doug has the hostel set up for wi-fi now so we should be able to tap into various people's photo accounts and keep pics running all night! Can't wait to see everyone there...

Now back to the apple pies... laugh

I baked some cookies for dessert, too.
As I said, am bringing paper plates and plastic forks as well.

Laura... I love you to death.. and I'm not tall enough to pop you upside the back of the head... but I'm gonna kick you in the shins next time I see you!!! Cruel and unusual punishment teasing those of us who won't be able to be there...
