can anyone give me the conditions of the trail crest camp?
I plan on leaving on 5/20 on the main Whitney trail to camp overnight there. Is it doable this year with the lacking snow fall, or should we camp at the lower camp sites?

I assume that you mean Trail Camp (12,000 feet). See Trip Report - 4/17 & 4/18 for pictures from two weeks ago.
