I enjoyed looking at your pictures and information from your hike to the top of Mt. Whitney. While at your website I looked at some of your other hiking trips, including your hike to the top of Half Dome. I would highly recommend on your next visit to Yosemite that you hike to the top of Clouds Rest. This a fairly easy 16 mile round trip hike that starts on the southwest side of Tenaya Lake on state highway 120 at the Sunrise trailhead parking lot. The elevation at the trailhead is 8,150 feet, and when you reach the summit you are at almost 10,000 feet. This trail usually does not have many other hikers on it, because I believe it is not well known. The views at the summit are the best in all of Yosemite. Just ask anyone who has been on the top of both Half Dome and Clouds Rest. If anyone is interested in looking at pictures and information from day hikes to Clouds Rest, Half Dome, El Capitan, Upper Yosemite Falls, or other hikes in California please visit my website at:
