Since enough people (and my Internet connection at home) are having trouble connecting to the new server, I have temporarily changed the URL that the board uses from "www." to www2."
Now everyone should be able to read and post here. Next week, we can change the "www2" back to "www" if nobody reports any trouble with it at that time.

Last night I found that I had better luck when I went to neutral sites (like google.com) first. Alan might have a point. My testing was focused on getting to this site (so all the work could have been self-defeating).

It works on AOL at home, and on God knows what at work. It's www2 here at home, but just www at work.

Forgot about the new server and just used the same bookmark I've been using for the last year, and here I am.
URL says "www2" on this page, but the main page is just "www".

I might have posted earlier, but I couldn't remember my password when the new site required a login.
Then it became more of a problem because I couldn't remember my e-mail address of record so that I could get my login ID and password sent to me.
I'm here now, so all is forgiven.
Looking forward to the new look and feel of the updated software.
