I just did Whitney on Friday - it was beautiful, and much easier because of the good information and intelligent advice I got on this board.

Also, just in case he's reading this, thanks to the guy from San Diego who shared his gatorade with me when I was eating snow right below the peak. It made for a great slushy that lasted all the way to Trail Camp.

After reading your post, I wanted to say something which I said earlier this summer. This board has also helped me in planning my trip. It's a real gem on the Internet. We should all be thankful that we have a place on the Internet to gather information, share stories, photos, etc.
