Mt. Whitney Portal Store & Hostel Forums General Mt. Whitney Portal Store Message Board Overnight permit needed 8/12

Hello,
My son and I had to stop at Trail Crest due to weather in early July. We were trying to summit from the back side (Guitar Lake). We sure would like another shot, this time from the Main Trail.

If anyone has a couple extra overnight permits the weekend of Aug., 12, they would be greatly appreciated.
