Leaving in a few minutes for Lone Pine. I want to try it again

Hey Snow Nymph, great photos!
I saw you on the way down the North Fork on your July 10th return, coming down the trail beneath the EB Ledges. We were complete novices, and you reassured us we were on the right path. After hiking near New Army Pass for the week, we came back and attempted the MR. We got to the notch and were blown off by the nasty electrical storm on July 17th. 300' away!! Anyway, I'll be trying again soon. Your pics were very helpful. The 1st chute looks to be steep, but doable. And the easy walk-off coming back looks pretty clean. Without the ice and snow, the easy walk-off looks harmless. What did you think?

Your pics are really quite good.
Wish we would have had them from the get go.
We started and finished via the gully at the bottom ... that was a mistake.

Excellent, excellent photos! I love the marked up ones with your trail shown..they are going to be an invaluable resource for our attempt in early October smile Thanks so much!
