We were up on the main trail on a day hike on Monday July 5th. The sky was clear up to well past 1 pm with clouds building up after that. It was quite cold at Trail Camp at 5:30 am, but the sun warmed things up comfortably on the switchbacks. There was a moderate breeze at Trail Crest, but it was quite still on the ridge to the summit. The breeze at the summit up to 10:30 am was strong and made it somewhat cold, but past that time, it died down. Not quite t-shirt weather but very comfortable with layers i.e. a windbreaker and hiking pants. Visibility was great and the views were breathtaking.
There was some snow on the switchbacks and just near the summit but it could be easily negotiated.
