Just got back from doing this hike today. Left the portal at 5:00, went up the NF to Russell-Carillon saddle, down to Tulainyo lake, and up to Tunnabora by 10:00. The summit can on Tunnabora is empty (sure wish people would refrain from stealing peak registers). Bagged Carillon on the way out. Saw some folks doing Russell's east arete (VERY tempting!)

Russell-Carillon saddle is mostly snow free on both sides now.

What time was it when you got back to the Portal, and how much time do you think Russell would have added?

Got back to the portal around 2:00, Russell probably would have added another 2-3 hours...
