I'm going to White Mtn shortly and instead of going the lonnnnng route thru Big Pine and doubling back, I wanted to take Silver Cyn out of Bishop.

I know it's 4wd. Has anyone gone up it? I am a female going alone in my husband's new pickup 4WD. Is it a pretty scary drive? I was never keen on off-roading. How many miles up is it?
