Big SB, or anyone else:

I have a permit for four for June 4th and 5th for the main trail and 3-6th for the portal campsite.

Trail Entry:6/4 (technically midnight 6/4 12:01 am)
Trail Exit: 6/5 (technically midnight 6/5 11:59 pm)

The campsite reservation is for an
Arrival, June 3 Thursday, check in 2 pm, and
Departure, Sunday June 6, checkout 1:00 pm.

This includes one vehicle with 6 occupants at the portal.

I paid a total of $51 for the campground and $60 bucks for the trail permits. For the math impaired, that's $111.00

I had a group of 4 with one back up going, but for various reasons or another, and after all this planning no one else can make it so although Whitney is high on my list I don't want to do it alone. I hear dying alone is underrated.

If anyone wants my reservations all I'm asking is my cost.

Thanks much,

Tiffany

what's the matter, are you afraid of dying alone? we all go sooner or later and we're not supposed to take our friends with us to the pearly gates.

You will be have a great time on your own. Give it some consideration. The trail has enough traffic that someone will come along if you sprain an ankle. You may make a bunch of friends. You'll probably find someone to hike with or at least you'll leapfrog some other parties enough to cheer each other on. Go for it.
