Great time to plan for the Heroes Hike up Mt Baldy Nov 8 . This will be the 11 th years for a great cause. Please research the program and see all that the Heroes have worked on and the Retreat center that broke ground this past few months .

Patrick set the WPSMB 2025 team up for this year , registering often isn't like a rollex so if you have problems please think about signing in and make a donation at the same time. Patrick or JJ at the Heroes can also help get you signed up .

You can support the project and join in for day hanging out at the lodge at the top of the lift or hike as far up as you want , my goal each year is just make it to the start and see how the day goes ...

Thanks to all the past supporters and lets see if we can make this another big year for the Heroes!!

For those who are unable to join the WPSMB2025 team for the Hike on Nov 8 (live far away, have other commitments,...) there is a VIRTUAL OPTION for registration and participation in this great outing. The details are explained on the event website.

For example, I signed up for the Virtual Option this year, as I will be visiting family in Pittsburgh PA on Nov 8. So we will be at the Veterans Parade in Pittsburgh on Nov 8 and will follow the Parade with a 10 mile hike over Pittsburgh's hilly terrain. On completion of our Hike, the Climb for Heroes will mail us a t-shirt, medal, etc. But nothing can substitute for the great feeling one gets from contributing to this outstanding event

Hiker,

From the Parking Lot head up the dirt service road to the Notch. Then on trail head for the Devil's Backbone. After crossing the Backbone, the trail traverses south of Mt Harwood and heads for the Summit.

See details on the Event Website.

Flat except for one hill!

Jim
