We are getting reports of people using switchbacks ,the more that use the trail a solid track will be made and less traction will be needed,but the trail can be icy early morning and late at night .
The end of the cable area will still have snow the cables offer no protection.

2 weeks should show a solid track , could still have very little snow and the path should be about 1-2 feet wide and some snow next to the wall ,early mornings could be icy since this area will have water all summer long until freezing starts late August
