Hi all,
I’m planning an overnight hike up Mt. Whitney on June 5–6 and am looking for a hiking buddy or small group to join up with! I’m a 29-year-old female, and this will be my first time summiting Whitney. I was originally planning to hike with my dad, but he’s nearing 65 and we both decided it’s best he sits this one out (so I have one extra permit).
I’m reasonably fit, have done a few high-altitude hikes, and plan to take it slow and steady with a night at Trail Camp.
