When these fires are out and the snow is on the ground and all the tourists gone will the forests echo with laughter?

I know they are a little more relaxed as the season slows to quiet, we see many more wildlife and they are curious of you not frightened, birds will look for a few seconds and go about what they were doing most often this is the ant and grasshopper time as winter is nearing storing food is the primary duty, traveling animals are on the way to winter homes and as Earlene says time for the forest to heal.
Winter visitors seem to respect the area understanding the relationship with the mountains.Winter is not kind to the novice.
The bathroom is just down the road, across from the trailhead and the waterfall will be turned off soon.
