Whats up guys! I got my Email for July 3rd! I have a few questions thought I was hoping some of you may be able to answer. I'm going to be a first timer out of Northern California, and want to make sure my trip that I've been dreaming of for months now becomes a reality.

When I go try email I noticed that it didn't specify whether it was a day permit or an overnight permit, do you guys know how this works? without it specifying I'm nervous that in the application I might have put in for a day permit or something? I'm pretty sure I marked everything correctly but still I'm a little on edge because I'm so excited I won the initial lottery. ill be soooo thankful if anyone could help me out =)))

Log on to your Recreation.gov account. click on lottery applications on left, it will show your lottery outcome with preferred and awarded choices. It says below that whether it is a day or overnight permit.

Good Luck!!!

i try to pretend im not addicted to getting on this mtn but seeing how there were still a bunch of day permits left i got 2 for monday sept 18. No intention of making the summit on a day permit. the goal is trail crest if there is time or part way up the switchbacks if not. Did the summit on an overnight in 2015 had it to myself for an hour at sunset so im all set on that part but the rest of the climb is so much fun, the mtn is so beautiful... if there are spare permits i cant resist grabbing some.
