Im hoping to attend. I fly out Sunday morning on a business trip, so if I may have to cut my day short.

What happened?
Just made reservations at the hostel.

Sorry, I just found out that the event got stalled at the government level. (I'm just the messenger.) We'll still be hiking on Saturday and there will most likely be a work project in the Hills on Sunday morning. If that doesn't appeal to you, call the Hostel. I can't edit my original post other than change the photo. Hoping Doug can remedy that here. Again, apologies. It was a done deal up until today.

With or without trail celebration, a fall WPSMB hike in the Alabama hills is always nice. Is Doug still in for something like that?

Everyone who hadn't committed one way or the other got culled. It's been revamped and you should see it now.

Seems best if we don't plan a hike at this time ,It would only add to the confusion. Sorry will update when the ribbon will be cut.

On another note road work still on and delay today was about 45 minutes each way , escort from town to the Portal.

I booked the Hostel for three days today, Im coming up and hiking something.

I haven't been able to find the FB page... can someone tell me what to search for. Im off on Friday and still interested in heading up for some Fri and Sat morning hikes :-)
