Have a reservation for the week of August 2 and getting really excited -- returning to, hopefully, avenge a non-summit many years ago. May I ask if anybody has recent info on conditions on the switchbacks?

Many thanks in advance.

No problem at all - dry-footed walk all the way through within the cables. There's actually more slipperiness in the snow field just below the summit and at Consultation Lake. The cables last Thursday, 7/15:

Just take that photo and add 3 weeks of intense sun rays to it and conditions will be great.

I was up there August of last year, and there was virtually nothing left of the snowpack along this section. It'll be an easy stroll Tiger - claim your revenge!
