Any one know how much snow is in the chute? Heading up on Tuesday for my son's first hike. Thanks!

Two weeks ago you could climb the "buttress approach" to the left of the Main Couloir to avoid snow. (I think we each took no more than 10-15 steps on snow down low.) Up higher, there was 200-300 feet of snow that had a good boot track. Quite a bit of this has got to be gone by now.

Thanks Richard P. Sounds like the usual conditions this time of year. Just didn't want any surprises. Much appreciated.
