Conrad Anker will be speaking at the REI in Manhattan Beach on Tuesday July 20 at 7 PM. Registration is required. I think the talk is technically full, but one can be added to the wait-list. Might be worth the effort. Registration is thru their website.
Last week I heard Ian Woodall speak at the same REI about his time on Everest. Very interesting and he is a great speaker, to boot!
