I plan to day hike the main whitney trail on Wednesday, July 21. I do not have permits, but from what I gather I have a good chance at picking one up the day before. I went up on June 26 but turned back at the cables (outside of my comfort zone). While I don't mind hiking alone, it would be nice to have some company. Anyone else planning on going up that day? I plan to take between 11-12 hours for the full trip.
