We are hiking in on Sunday Sept. 21st to Lone Pine Lake, Monday to Consultation, Lake Tuesday to the top and back out. Does any body have late information on trail conditions at the top? Is there any ice or snow? Where is the best place to get a weather forcast for the summit?

Try www.395.com and click on weather Owens valley. For Sunday it says mostly sunny with highs in the low 90's and lows in the low 50's. That would mean up at trail camp the high would be close to 60 with lows about 20-25. I haven't heard anything about snow but there is some ice forming up high on the trail at night.

Check the Rangers Station in Lone Pine when you get into town. They always post the weather forecast in the office.
