Hey thank you. Yes red line was the ascent route (well something like that). We took it because...1) We all never been there before and didn't know the "normal" route, and there were no foot marks from before. 2) We were keeping to the left close to the rocky surface and saw that there is a way to climb up and get over those rocks so we just went for it(wanted to be original : ) ) 3)Snow really sucked, it was too hard and in most places you couldn't spot yourself by putting the axe in since large rocks under shallow layer of snow were all over, so crossing to the right might of been dangerous at times..at couple of points on those rocks it really sucked because there were no good hand holds so we had to reach over with our axe for some hold and pray not to slip..it was great.
We took the chute down for half the way though..
